Install broadband hamnet firmware 3.0.0 on Ubiquiti Nanostation M2
Broadband hamnet flash and startup, flashing a Ubiquiti Nanostation M2 with 3.0.0 code.

1. download the code for your ubiquiti unit from here:

2. set your computer static IP to 192.168.1.22, gateway 192.168.1.20, mask 255.255.255.1, DNS 192.168.1.20
3. connect a network cable to your nanostation and to your PC.
4. open your browser and point it at the nanostation IP address which is 192.168.1.20
5. login with ubnt ubnt
6. click system and then Browse.

Select your firmware (factory or sysupgrade version) from your disk
that you previously downloaded from BBHN website, then hit open.

click UPLOAD, and UPDATE, then wait, do not interrupt. The lights on
the Nanostation will wig-wag while the update is installing.
9.Wait for tthe progess bar to finish moving, wait and wait some more.

After you think its finished updating, change your PC to DHCP and
remove the network cable briefly and plug it back in. The nanostation
will give an address, usually 192.168.1.15.
11. Point your browser at localnode:8080 which is the new nanostation webpage address when running BBHN firmware.
12. If all is well, the page will come up and list NOCALL, hit SETUP and the username password is root hsmm

on the next page, put your callsign dash 2 digit number at a minimum.
Then select a password and enter this in both password and verify
password boxes.
14. Hit Save changes. The unit will reboot.

After about 60 seconds, the nanostation will come up, the led display
will have a green light on each side, and a red light in the center.
16. disconnect and reconnect your network cable again, and point your browser at localnode:8080 to log into your new mesh node.

Once logged in , click around on the screens, one you will enjoy is
MESH STATUS where all other known mesh nodes will be displayed.
